A few images captured during a weekend in Charente-Maritime to visit one of my dear friends, Salomé, also a photographer.

Leaving La Rochelle at dawn, I set myself the challenge of getting to La Tremblade by early afternoon – by hitchhiking. Well, it’s done!

After crossing paths with a father out to (re)discover his region with his daughter, a nomadic electrician taking his lunch break with

quiche in hand between two missions, a grandfather and his jack meeting his wife at the train station

and finally, a dapper woman ready to welcome her girlfriends to her vacation home, I arrived at my destination!

On the agenda: 3 days strolling through fishermen’s cottages and oyster beds.

It’s like being on vacation here.
